Though I initially entered the realm of theater as an actor I quickly found my calling behind the curtain. I then took a position as the scene shop supervisor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where I have had the opportunity to work as Technical Director, Master Carpenter, Master Electrician, and Designer on most of the departmental shows. I’ve also worked in many technical capacities for various theater companies, and am now pursuing my MFA in Technical Direction at Purdue. My goal is to use the technical knowledge and experience to enhance the core essence of each show. I work to heighten the thematic impact on the audience through an immersive theatric experience.
